You know, I have to admit I would love to look as good as Andie MacDowell. This woman is flat out gorgeous! And, she never looks like she ages. Luckily, I do have a faint resemblance to her. So I have been told. Similar eyes and hair. I only wish I had her perfectly straight teeth and perhaps the perfect cleavage. Do you know she was 27 when she was in St. Elmo's Fire back in 1985? Yep, that means she is now 50! I'm sorry but this woman does not look 50...what's her secret?
Although she has been in 44 films, I only can think of her from her most acclaimed, especially Sex, Lies and Videotape, Groundhog day and even Multiplicity. I never saw Four Weddings and a Funeral, but occasionally catch a few glimpses when it makes its rounds on TV. It seems that many of her other roles were just not quite as memorable.
What is interesting about her is that her real name isn't even Andie, or something even similar. It's Rosalie...which I find even prettier. Rosalie Anderson, which obviously she shortened to Andie.
Although she is still picking up new roles, her main career is promoting Loreal.
